Paulson Sear (Referred to constantly as Paul by Jim in a running gag) is one of the executives at FistShark Marketing, and is the most recent to be hired, making his first appearance in Episode 56 as he inherited the position from Caitlin Cooke after she died in Episode 50. Paulson is the most morally ethic and smartest person out of the execs, and is the only executive character whose voice and name is not the same as his real-world counterpart (Johnathan Holmes). He was brutally murdered by Jim and Conrad and Craig's "marriage" in Episode 100, as they had become gradually convinced that he was a robot possibly sent by their competitors.
Paulson's softly spoken voice, and apparent bouts of almost childish naivety masked his possibly psychotic insanity, which often impressed his more cynical colleagues.
